Although we have limited space within our school setting we are fortunate enough to have access to open spaces within our local village and another trust school close to us, The Clinton C of E School. Using these spaces enables children to gain a vast range of knowledge and skills through collaborative learning projects. Our Dolton Garden within our playground also provides children with responsibility to grow and nurture colourful and vibrant flowers and some fruit and vegetables.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Being outside allows our learners to further develop personal growth and academic success. As we \u2018Live Our Virtues\u2019 outdoor learning encourages our learners to develop and apply virtues such as cooperation, resilience, resourcefulness, compassion, creativity, reflection, courage and confidence. Taking C360 outside promotes personal, social and communication skills, improves wellbeing and spiritual health.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2018C360 Outdoors\u2019 enriches our children\u2019s learning with staff weaving in core learning objectives during sensory,\u00a0 fun, hands-on, skill building learning experiences. Children engage in \u2018wild\u2019 learning experiences such as fire building, using tools, wild cooking, den building, gardening and conservation skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At our school we are always finding ways of improving our outdoor areas. We work closely with our parents and wider community, including other schools within our trust, developing plans for our school to engage in environmental studies as well as developing an understanding of how we can interact with the elements and develop a greater awareness of the world in which we live.
